66 Mustang C-Code Found: Whats the $$$?

I just located a 66 Mustang C-Code with auto trans, black leather seats with no rips. Mileage unknown, engine condition unknown. I do know that the last time the car was checked by the state was back in 78. Since then the car may very well have been parked in the yard for some reason.

What do you think the value of the car could be? What about the offer I would give to the older folks who own the car? Thanks for the help.

It's vinyl not leather. 3k from the looks of it. Everything will need to be checked and rebuilt.

thats sounds about right for the price considering the condition. a lot is still unknown so check the usual rust spots (lower doors, lower fenders, lower quarters, and look under the car to see how the floor pans and frame rails look.)

in my opinion, when your buying an older car your main concern should be how well the body is (exceptions are shelbys and k codes). engines, trannys, rear ends, etc etc can all be replaced/rebuilt.
also, don't forget to go over the title. as you described, it sounds like a non-op. if so, make sure there are no hidden fees.

good luck!
