Anyone Gone KYB to GR2?

Was wondering if anyone has done this. I like the handling of the KYB's but a bit to harsh at times. Thought the GR2's would be a good compromise.
Any insight?

Re: Anyone Gone KYB to GR2?

The KYB'S were recommended to me for my 66 coupe, now before I get a set how harsh is the ride. I am already using a set of 1in drop 620lb coils up front, and a old set of Monroe gas shocks that give me a firm but not uncomfortable ride.

Re: Anyone Gone KYB to GR2?

For everyday driving/commuting, the kyb's seemed to harsh/firm for me. For cornering/racing, they work great! It seems that the gr2's would be a better fit for your ride.

I tried some 620/1" drop coils and they are great for freeway cruising/cornering, but way too stiff(harsh ride) for the crappy street roads in the small town I live in!

If the addition of these shocks will help me go around a corner with less roll, I need them.
