Wink Engine swap 65

Building my 65 fastback with new stuff!
New Ford Motorsport 302 Windsor Crate engine M-6007-Z50Z and Total Control manual rack and Pinion.
I’ve have problems with clearness between Cylinder heads and Shock tower for my headers. Clearings are 2½inc
Any won out there that have done the same swap with this engine?
I was thinking of trying the Hedman swap headers for 351w but will they fit.

Klaus

Re: Engine swap 65

I just got done putting a 351 c into my 66. You need custom headers. Call Stan at Ford powertrain applications. I cut the shock towers and welded flat plates where the bulges were.
