I was going to add.. probably just showing out a little too. Always happens when you are trying to impress someone. A friend of mine was trying to show off his new engine.. and performance. Ended up smashing the thing right smack into a neoghborhood tree. The tree itself was untouched.. and his car was crushed in the front.. and we had injuries. By the way, he was just giving me a ride. I kind of saw it coming and told him to lay off of it and that I got it (meaning yeah I knew he had the ****), but I guess his adrenaline kept him in it and we met the tree. I was picking glass from the windshield out of my face and hands for weeks. I will never forget that. Don't try and prove anything to anyone. It could also(hope not) cost you your life.

Be wise, be careful, and don't let others lips egg you on or into something.

Re: Ouch!

That is great advice slik. Showing off can get you into serious trouble.

I have busy at it. I cut some spring perches off an 8" I had laying around. I reinforced them with channel as you can see. They are very stout now. While I had everything apart I decided to clean things up a little. New brake lines, steam clean the finder wells, new seam sealer and rubberized undercoating to top it off.

Re: Ouch!

Mike,

It's really an amazing car!

I'm in love with the blower, my next power plant will have a blower too.

Will probably weld some reinforcment on my 9" to avoid that!

Unfortunaly the "Beam me up Scotty" does not exist otherwise I'd like to be beamed in Alaska for first, drinking a beer with you and next, enjoy your power plant!!!

Re: Ouch!

I'll drink a beer with you anytime. After the ride of course.
