Re: Undercarriage Replacement?
Back when, I obtained the remains of another Mustang after some Hit and Run sideswiped me a good one.
I found one in nearby town that was in weeds of a Redevelopment project. The owner was involved in some front end collision, and had sold off all the interior, engine, trunk lid and other items for next to nothing. He was trying to pay rent. I was prepared to haul it out that afternoon.
Combined with parts from my other car, then from two wrecks, got one good Mustang. Took me 1 1/2 years to complete, but works good. Hauled the donor and damaged parts off to steel dealer, and got my $4 there.
Before obtaining a car, ask for all known license paperwork, just in case you have to title it by that registration instead of yours.
