I don't think there was ever A tunnel ram made for the Windsor . The only way you could go would be to get the intake spacer plates that are sold to mount the Parker funnel wedge 302 intake onto a Windsor . I have seen a few of them sold on Ebay . then you could use a 302 tunnel ram .

Re: 351w tunnel ram

Yep no 351w tunnel ram ever made EVER.
You have to use a 302 TR with the spacer plates.
Murff on this website has a plethora of information on the subject. Hopefully he'll chime in.
IMO i love Tunnel Rams. Id have one on the Pinto If i could swing the cost. Id want a polished and coated one. Then id have to have the polished and plated carbs. Ohhhhh $$$$$$$$$$$

Price Motorsport

Not a tunnel ram, but Price Motorsports has a dual quad intake for the 351 Windsor now. $485, and they offer it in two cofigurations, flat and 4 degree power angle.

Re: 351w tunnel ram

edelbrock also makes an rpm air gap dual quad, its about the highest rise dual quad made for a 351w but not a tunnel ram, I guess you could put a couple 2" spacers on it.

Re: 351w tunnel ram

How would a 302 intake work on a 351? The 351 intake is alot wider than the 302.

Re: 351w tunnel ram

you need to buy spacers made for it. Price Motorsports and a few other vendors out there make them so you can use a 302 intake on a 351W.

Re: 351w tunnel ram

couldn't you just stack spacers to simulate a tunnel ram?

Re: 351w tunnel ram

I love the looks of dual carbs on a tunnel ram sticking out of the hood as much as anyone, but if this is a street car I would recommend a low or mid-rise dual quad set up such as the Edelbrock mentioned.
Tunnel rams make no low end torque, and you would get smoked red light to red light on a regular basis.

Re: 351w tunnel ram

Hey, sbouldnt be doing the red light to red light thing!
I would have agreed about the perf, but I saw an intake test in Carcraft where the low end numbers on SBF for torque were negligable over the dual plane/single plane, and the HP numbers were significantly better. Not a lot of torque loss comparitavley , this was a single four set up though.
