Neutral safety lockout bypass

I am installing a T5 in place of a C4 and need to know what to do to bypass/replace or rewire the neutral safety switch. Also, are there any other electrical connections I need to know about? Thanks.

Re: Neutral safety lockout bypass

The NSS is on the transmission selector lever on the transmission. There should be four wires. Two will be red with a blue stripe. These are the two that need to be connected together. They interrupt the connection to the starter relay when the car is not in park or neutral. The other two wires are the reverse lights ( if your 64 1/2 was equipped). They can be connected to the T-5's reverse light switch.
