my 66' coupe dies in reverse no matter how warmed up it is any ideas?
Wrong idle mixture, bad converter, wrong timing, wrong idle speed, broken planet in transmission.........

I've seen this before on a stang with one bad motor mount... Put the car in reverse and the motor mount settled and the throttle blades closed too far to let the car idle...
Mechanical linkage will act funny like that sometimes...
