1970 fastback to 1969 fastback conversion??need help

hey guys, I have a 1970 fastback but I love the way the dual headlights look on a 69. I want to change the headlight bezels on mine to install 69 headlight bezels. Will i have to change the fender to? will 69 fenders even fit on a 1970? or is this even possible? thanks

It will work but it takes alot of parts swapping. the fenders, grille support, front valence and all hardware, front light wiring harness are all different for a 69. Plus all trim you mentioned. Headlight bezels, headlight buckets, trim, front fender extensions, grille, etc. Mike

hi, thanks for the response. I don't want to convert it completely to a 69. I jsut want the dual headlight look in the front and I know I have to change the fenders to be able to install the dual headlight bezels/grill from the 69. How sure are you that this will work?

Yes it can be done. I did it on my '70.
You can cut the inner part of the fender. The valance is the same except for indicaters. You have to replace all grill parts and trim.
