1967 mustang fastback, 289 2v with AC

I am have found a 1967 mustang fastback, 289 2v with AC that has sat for 22 years underneath a very large group of pine trees which acted like a tomb. As far as I can tell this car is almost 100% complete and shows 70K for miles. It sat next to a 67 390 coupe for the same time period. The owner sold that and it started in an hour supposedly. (dont know if I believe)

My question is what is this worth? This car does not have major rust problems and actually the quarters are in good shape. The owner wants 8K or OBO. I have seen 67 fastbacks all over the board in price. Does the AC add value? Thanks for any help.

You had better buy that car tomorrow! The AC doesn't add much of anything to the value imho.

You are sorely mistaken to think that it sat under a tree for any more than about 5 years and it don't have much rust issues.

Pine trees are the worst, but I think it's still worth about 6K if it's complete, fully complete, right down to the jack and spare.

I had similar experience. Had one sitting under a Deodora Pine for a few years. The needles dry, fall onto roof. Then blow into the cowl vent. Lies in there then plug up the drains. Takes a good 3-4 years though.

As mentioned, pine trees are the pits.

I actually got to look this car over well tonight. The quarters are oringinal and not bad. The front fenders are need of replacement. Doors new skins. Frame rails have one small blister on both but are not bad. One wheel turns on the rear and actualy so does the drive shaft. Going to try for 6K. Any other advice?
