wiring

Am trying to decide on a wire harness for my 68. Anyone have input on which one to buy. Painless, year one, NPD?

Re: wiring

I recommend Ron Francis. Ron Francis Wiring

Had a friend who builds Hot Rods recommend them to me. He mentioned he had very good service, quality, and fit from Ron Francis over Painless.

After buying and installing one in my 65 Mustang, I couldn't agree more.

The Express system allows you to run individual circuits, rather than all the wire hanging out the back of the fuse panel. Here is a link to the Mustang specific harness.

Re: wiring

I installed a painless system in my 66 Fairlane. Went surprisingly easy. I bought a 12 circuit universal system. Biggest problem was making sure I didn't get lost in referencing old diagram vs new. Took me a weekend to do it once I got rockin and rolling. if I ever do one again, I'll probably go painless because it was.... Can't comment about Ron Francis, but sounds like that would be a good choice too.
