threading 302 heads

does anyone know if the rocker stud holes in a 302 head are vertical (perpendicular to the base)? as in, if you were to place the heads flat on a drill press type device, would the drill enter the hole square.. i`m just wondering if its possible to thread the holes at home with something like this :-

i cant find any with tilt tables that would be necessary if the holes arent vertical when the head is laid flat.

NO, the studs are put in at an angle to the head surface.
I don't remember what the angle is off hand but I can probably find it if necessary.
