Fuel sender

My fuel sender has quit working and the tank needs to go to redi strip, has anyone used a fuel sender from an earlier mustang? Cannot find a replacement for a Mustang II.

Fuel sender

Ended up ordering a sender for a 73 mustang, had to file the mounting tab slots in the tank and slightly bend the tube and sender arm, looks like it will work OK. Also the fuel tube was 3/8's and the car is 5/16's but the hose still slipped on. I'll let you know how it works if I ever get far enough to fill it up.
