351 head on 302

Can I put a 351 heads on a 302 engine, both egines are carburator, what do i nead??

yes you can.

What do you need? Gaskets... [img]/forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]

I don't know if you need 351 gaskets or 302 gaskets, but my guess is 351 gaskets...

That makes it a boss 302 my coinsidence don't it?

I have no clue about that but the cam only determines firing order when switched from 351 to 302...

351 head on 302

351 heads take 1/2 bolts and 302 use 7/16 so you will need to put bushings in the heads so they dont move around when installed.

ooooh that's right... The Boss 302 was a 302 with Cleveland heads on it wasn't it?
