77 mustang ll /might be a mach1

i can buy one for 325.00 302 2v 4-speed solid car no title does anybody think it is a mach 1 it is 1 color repainted long time ago it is not cobra ll it is a hatch back i can steel a pic of it i want to save it life befor it get smashed to carp in a mini derby

Plug the VIN number into the decoder here. It should tell you if it's a Mach I or not.

Do you have the Vin number? if it has 69 F for a body it is not a mach i. The mach I was the only Hatch back that had a separate code from the rest of the hatch backs .If I remember right it was 69R for a body code on the mach i ,all other models like the stallion cobra II and regular mustang were 69F code. The buck tags are the only place it tells that it is a real cobra II but the mach I has a r in the registration it can't be copied .

Looks like a plain fast back 77 with a wheezy 302 to me. VINs only way to tell for sure. I'd give $325 for that in a minute, Mach or not. Although I prefer a notch.
