They didnt have 6 cylinder back then just 4 cylinders.

The 8 cylinders came with a world calss T5. With your kind of power I would look into a G-froce or TKO.

A 4 cylinder tranny behind your engine wont last very long. An 8 cylinder T5 is pretty hard to find in the boneyards. Installation is pretty easy.
