Hi, im new to the forums so bare with me.
Im building a 460 pretty solid i think but i have a question regarding my cam bearings. I have a list of mods/parts too long to list at my website (hardly any pics though).

Ok now for the main point. I have a whole set of clevite 77 bearings for my engine. I decided that i wanted a hydraulic roller cam. i called schneider racing cams (crowers ex partner) and got a roller cam kit for my engine consisting of a billet cam, and some good springs/locks/retainers and a set of Crane roller lifters. The BIG question is, do i need roller cam bearings for my engine, or will the clevite 77s work? i guess i should ask schneider racing cams but i would rather have input from the crowd. also, would a roller cam retainer plate/cam button be useable or adviseable. ive heard of cam walk with roller cams and thats the last thing i want after spending so much on my engine.
also, tell me what you guys think of my setup so far from my website. im in the process of building the motor as we speak and its ready to have the bearings put in but before i do it, i wanna be extra sure that im not gonna cause prematuree bearing failure due to wrong bearing/cam mix.
fyi, this is being stuffed into a 1983 mustang gt. all i can do is beg for mercy from the traction gods because my entire suspension in the rear is stock with the exception of subframe connectors and some kyb gr2 struts. gotta save up for ladder bars or a 4 link. i already have a narrowed 9\" that i need to put in. man....so much work ahead of me. why did i start this project.
any suggestions?? thanks
