My dad drives a '95 Mustang GT, bone stock, except for a K&N filter and Flowmaster 40 series. The car, when stopped, if you hit the throttle will take a while to come back down to normal idle, usually hanging around 1500 RPM. If rolling, when you disengage the clutch to shift, the car actually increases RPM. I've sprayed the throttle body down with carb cleaner and wiped it down the best I could since it's hard to reach in there. I've also replaced the IAC valve, sprayed the MAF down with carb cleaner, and checked the TPS voltage which was at .982. I also sprayed around the engine with starter fluid looking for vacuum leaks, but I couldn't find any. Anybody have any suggestions?
