Speedometer

I just changed the entire speedometer cable, housing, etc in my 92 5.0 aod coupe. It worked for three blocks and quit. Any ideas?

Speedometer

It's a lost cause bro... Might as well sell it... I'll give ya $50 bucks for it even with the bad speedo!

Did you measure the length of the old cable to the new housing? The new housing could be a tad bit longer or you broke it...

Also, pull the gear out of the tranny and inspect it, I have seen gears that actually work on the speedo with only a couple teeth left on them!
