Hello everyone. Question about elec. fan, relay vs. cooling effect

I've been running a dual flex-a-lite e-fan. Doesnt seem to be blowing like it should. I have it powered through a 30/40A relay. I have been wondering if I installed a 75A relay, would it allow the fan to blow harder which will result in more air and better cooling effect? If so, how should I proceed in wiring it up? Both fans? Would it wire the same way as it is now? Thanks in advance. Just wondering how I could get more out of this fan. Daily temps get up to 95*, and being in traffic is a little tough in those conditions. I have searched also, before asking this question.

http://www.dccontrol.com/

Take a look at this. That controller is the best cooling upgrade I ever did. I think it will solve your Alabama heat problems. Good luck.

Hello everyone. Question about elec. fan, relay vs. cooling effect

Hello there, I have heard nothing but bad things about flexalite/black magic fans. I dont think the problem is in your wiring. I am almost positive that your problem is the fan itself. I have heard many a times that flexalite fans just dont move enough CFM. I use a Lincoln MarkVIII fan and never have any cooling problems. also by any chance are you running underdrive pulleys? and which T/Stat are you running?

Hello everyone. Question about elec. fan, relay vs. cooling effect

Actually that fan was what I started out running and my car would run really cool until I swapped out the GT40 Aluminum heads for the Twisted Wedge heads. It was great for almost a yr or so. I recently removed it, and now have a fan from a late model Volvo that I bought from this guy on Corral.net. Its awesome, and my car will not run any warmer than 170* in mid 90's heat. With the A/C on it will go up in the 190's range, but I have no problem with that. I have a 160* stat in it.
