331 stroker piston

I am in the search for a 331 piston that does not have the oil ring go trough the wrisp pin. Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction. I have seen SRP and Keith Black pistons but I am unsure if they do not have the oil groove through pin. Thanks.

I'll have to try and find the part # for you.

Check out the pistons offered from Probe Industries.

They have what you need.

They use the smaller 3mm bottom ring which will reduce the friction a tiny bit.

Also avaliable with tool steel wrist pins.

I've used them and so has Joe.

The Probe piston is very nice. This is the one I'm using in my 408 build before Mike shaved .012 off the top for me :

Here are the the ones for the 331 application:

331 stroker piston

Guys thanks a lot for the info. I actually contacted the guy who owns the machine shop where i got my block machined and he is going to hook me up with the probe pistons. I believe that they are the same ones used in the coast high performance 347. On probes website the same part number is used for both the 331 and 347 just the length of the rod is different. This keeps the oil groove above the wrist pin. Once my piston choice is done I can move forward with the build. Thanks again

I used forged probe pistons on my 331 stroker. Since I am running flat tops with TFS Heads Probe was one of the few that offered the correct piston. Good Luck!
