351m/400 swap mustang

Saw a 400 in a '84 coupe (identical to mine...which is why it caught my eye) that ran some mid 8's (1000') 6.50's 1/8 mile...with iron 4V heads. Where he got the intake, what he did to make it run what it did...I have no idea. I just asked him what motor was in it, he said 400M, I took a looksee under the hood and walked away.

400's were very underrated. With all the deck height, theoretically you could stuff a lot of cubic inches in there with the right crank. I wonder...will a 4.25" stroke crank fit in there?? Hmmm
