Shifter handle tight to move
1988 automatic shifter is super hard to move. Unhooked linkage, so its not in the tranny. Anyone know if these are repairable-I havent removed it yet. Sprayed it with WD-40 but no help.

un-hooked its still stiff?? Must be frayed and need replaced.
