3:73 OR 4:10

1994 MUSTANG GT WITH AODE, WITH TRANS IN DRIVE CAR SHIFTS 1ST-2ND AT APPROX 55 MPH AND 5000 RPM.
WHAT GEAR WORKS THE BEST FOR STREET DRIVER WITH OUT KILLING MILEAGE OR ABILITY TO RUN ON INTERSTATE.
DOES ANYBODY HAVE IDEA OF APPROX RPM AT 65MPH WITH THESE GEARS. LOOKING FOR ALL OPINIONS OR IDEAS

Either way you will not turn excessive rpm with o/d. It depends on what you like. 3.55s are a great gear on the street. If you like low gearing go with 3.73s. With a stock cam, 4.10s run out of RPM capability pretty quick.

IMO with an automatic I would go with the 4.10s. I have an 88 gt(auto) with 4.10s and on the highway going 70 mph I am rolling about 2600-2700 rpms.as my daily driver (I commute at least 60 miles a day to and from work),it really isnt that bad.it came stock with 2.73s and when I switched over to teh 4.10s, it really woke it up.
