is installing nitros in a hatch dangerous for a daily driver and how long can you have the valve open and the solinoid on without using it before it hurts the system.if these questions seem too basic forgive me as i have NEVER seen a nitros bottle in person just mags and movies

I wouldn't turn on the valve until you're ready to use it. I've seen a couple of really nice cars (including a rare '85 comp prep SVO and a '04 Cobra) destroyed because someone left the valve on and a solenoid was stuck...filled the motor full of nitrous and when the driver went to start the engine...boom. The SVO wasn't as dramatic, but the Cobra...I was standing about 50 feet away and got shrapnel from the explosion. The shockwave could be felt over a mile away. The hood flew over a hundred feet. The whole front end of the car was destroyed..as well as the top of the motor. Thousands of $$$$ worth of junk parts, all for a stuck solenoid and someone not turning the valve off.

I've seen lots of Hatchback cars with the valve under the hatch. I would say it'd be fine.

I saw someone's signature the other day that was neat: Nitrous is like a hot girl with STD's. You know you want to hit it, but you're afraid of the consequences.
