All Stang 8.8\'s TracLoc?

I have a 7.5 in my 79. Thinking about stepping up to an 8.8 and want to ensure I get TracLoc. I assume I need the whole 8.8 rear from a Mustang. I have been led to believe this is a bolt in swap. Anything I am missing here?

No. very easy swap, just MUCH heavier than that 7.5.

I've seen them live for a long time as long as your on true street tires and not beating the snot out of the car.

All Stang 8.8\'s TracLoc?

A 87-88 Ford Turbocoupe would be a great swap. I see them in junkyards all over the place. Auto's had 3.73's and manual's had 3.55's. T-Lock with rear disc's. The only thing you have to re-drill is where your quad shock bolts to on the rear housing "1 or 2 inches"? below the factory bolt hole. If your car didnt come equipped with quad shocks dont worry about it.
