well i finally had the time and dug into the car a little and found a few problems. Someone somewhere along the lines had attempted to port the throttle body, mass air sensor, and intake manifold. The thottle body is garbage, it looks like a stop sign inside of it. the intake manifold is rough but i think it can be saved, and the mass air sensor.......isn't there supposed to be a honeycomb stuff in there? because its bare and you can tell where its been smoothed out, though its all a very rough finish, as if they did the 'port' but not the polish. the lower intake stayed on the car so i'm not sure of any damages if any were done to it or the heads. Though it doesn't look like they got ballsy enough to try and port the intake runners (thank god) also when i removed the upper intake plenum i found out that the rear bolts weren't tight. after pulling the first four bolts the plenum would rock back and forth easy and without loosening the rear bolts, would spin with little effort when i removed one of the two. Any estimations on how much power loss this porting (if you can call it that) and mass air unit might cause?

Definate Problem with the vaccum Leaks and ditch the home ported parts, Improper work can really screw everything up !! It's a big enough pain in the Arse getting everything working right with most modified EFI systems, let alone a home hack job !!
