Changing front nose from round to square headlights

I want to change the front nose of an 92 Mustang LX to an 85-86 GT nose with the square headlights. I need to know if the front fiberglass stiffener has to be changed to that from an 85-86, and what to do about the plugs for the lights, directionals, etc. Appreciate any and all help.

Check with http://www.mpsautosalvage.com/ and see if they know. Lights can be spliced in. Most guys go the other way around and put the aero fronts on the older Fox. You just want to be different or something???

You are going to have to change the reinforcement piece for the front bumper cover.Other parts that are different are the hood, the inner bumper, bumper shocks and the moldings on the side of the car.If you get the factory wiring pigtails for the lights you can splice onto them. The aero cars should have 3 wires going to the headlight: a ground, a high beam and a low beam.On the four eyed cars one headlight is a low beam, the other is a high beam so what you need to do is add another ground wire.

Where are you located? I have '79 Mustang that I would love to give the aero look. Maybe we could swap parts.

I am in central New Jersey, Freehold, home of the "Boss".
Where are you?
Sorry, we were away for a little vacation.

I'm on the other side of the continent, about an hour north of Seattle. Doesn't look like this will work out.
