distributor clearence

is ANYONE besides me using an HEI type distributor and if so which manifold are you using,i currently have edelbrock performer 289 but bought an rpm air gap for new 347 will it fit ?short block comes back from machinist 9 days from now should i swap for stealth or change ignitions?

my son using same setup on 302 no problems

I ran one with my RPM intake. Worked great. If you plan to run a 14" air cleaner you will need the offset style made for HEI. Also the coolant line that goes into the intake you will have to swap out the fitting for a 90 degree turn fitting. I was really happy with my HEI dizzy one wire hook up was just too easy. I also added a MSD soft touch rev box to mine for safety sake.
