smell

im getting that smell you get when your not burning all your fuel, what could be the reasons for it! i wantted to run my 87 5.0 with no cat, but even with out cats i shouldn't get that smell as strong as im getting it. my thinking is a hose? where can i find a vaccum diagram? check the vacuum line going to the fpr then check the O2 sensors and make sure they're sweeping like they should. (ie. quickly)

ck codes...found code for intake air temp sensor reading cold...makes them run really rich. Are you a mass conversion or still s/d? If a conv., could be getting a bad siganl as to actual airflow. ck manifold vacuum too, make sure its steady and good
