BOUGHT 89 5.0 LX KNOWING THAT IT HAD SOME BODY ISSUES BUT NOTHING OUTRAGEOUS UNTIL CHECKING ALIGNMENT AND UNDERSIDE OF CAR PRIOR TO INSTALLING SUBFRAME CONNECTORS. FOUND THAT CAR HAD SUFFERED HEAVY IMPACT INTO LT FRT SUSPENSION TWISTING SUSP CRADLE, PUTTING BUCKLE IN RT ENGINE RAIL, AND CAUSING SEPERATION ON LT RAIL FROM COWL AREA.
KNOW THAT I 'VE QUIT CRYING IN MY BEER.
I'VE FOUND 93 4CYL CAR AND MY QUESTION IS IF I SWAP DRIVETRAIN I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP THE TILT COLUMN WITHOUT AIRBAG FROM 89 AND INSTALL IN 93 BODY.
WILL THIS CAUSE ANY ISSUES?
ALL ADVISE WOULD BE APPRECIATED AND ANY TIPS ON SWAP OUT FROM EARLIER MODEL TO LATER MODEL BODY.
