ACT relocate to air box?

hi im installing an explorer GTP heads and lower and upper intake, so i found that the explorer lower intake doesn´t have a plug for the ACT sensor, so i know i have two ways to go, drill and tapped a hole for the ACT in my lower explorer intake or, relocate teh ACT sensor to the air box, i´ve heard some opinions some ones saids its a good option, and other saids thast its better drill a hole, so im very confused, i dont install the lower intake yet so i can drill and tapped the hole, but also i´ve heard that relocate the ACT to the air box give some extra HP a few, one or two, also i notice that the ACT sensor can affect the flow on the #5 runner because it enter a lot inside the runner, so guys what do you recomenderme?

relocate or not relocate there´s the question?

ACT relocate to air box?

i have relocated the IAT temp sensor right after the MAF with good results.... The computer will see much cooler air temp with it in the air duct instead of the lower intake manifold so you will see more timing and different fuel mixtures. hope this helps....

thanks of course it will, ok so im going to relocate to the air box, and see what happens, what you said if the iat reads a coolers air temp so the ECU its going to send more fuel to the air /fuel mix, thats great because i swap my intake, TB and the heads so i now have more air in the cilinder heads thats why i need more gasoline to burn the increasing air.
