89 4cyl lx to 302 v8 convert?

hello, im new to the forums, but not new to mustangs although im am new to converting a 4cyl mustang to a 5.0 carb. im wonder how to wire it up? the car was a efi 2.3 4cyl. has anyone done this to theres or knows a website, or a book, or any other info on how to wire one up as far as my lights, wipers, ect, do i ditch the main engine harness? an help would be great thanx fellas....

I've done it on an '85. Yank what you don't need (anything related to the computer). Keep what you want aka lighting, radio, etc. OR, yank it all and start fresh (better idea). Good luck.

The one i did i took out the elect fuel pump and replaced with a pickup tube....and used a HEI dist (one wire hooked to a switched 12v wire) and away you go...just yanked out all the computer stuff
