Street friendly gears w/ AOD

I have an early 70's car that I am swapping out an FMX for a B&M AOD, 2200 stall with lock up. The car has 26" tires and a 3.0 peg leg now.
I am going to put in a posi and gears. I am looking for some advice on rear gears. I would like to turn 2k rpm or less at 65mph and it appears a 3.5 or 3.7 should be close. Car now turns 2800rpm at 65 mph.
Any help or advice on decission before I buy?

My own opinion would be 3.55 gears.They work great in my car.Good cruising,good take off,and good on the highway for mpg.

With an AOD (which will rob you of more power at the wheels), I'd go 3.73 or maybe even 4.10.
