Stock radio question

89 LX coup, radio didn't work when I got it but tape played. I thought bad radio. Nope, blown fuse in fuse panel which also supplies the dome light. Replaced the fuse, bonus, both now work, but, the radio LCD doesn't light up, so I've got no clock and no way to tell what station I'm on unless I listen for the call out from the station.

Is there a light inside the radio I can replace and get the display back up?

I tried pluggin in an aftermarket radio and it came on, but didn't play, so there something going on with the wiring.

There is a TINY little bulb in there. It is a peanut style bulb but is really small and Ford doesn't sell it oddly enough. I found one the same size used as an ignition key courtesy light in a '91 Escort column. My suggestion is take the stereo out pull the top off and take the micro bulb out and into a good parts place that has a selection of bulbs.

You should still be able to see the LCD digits without the light albeit faintly. It may be your LCD is gone bye bye too.
