94/95 5.0 shorty headers

Will they fit an 82 5.0 mustang without issues?

Re: 94/95 5.0 shorty headers

they will fit the heads for sure, but the fox body steering shaft is at a much greater angle on the driver side than the sn95s ...so ide say no, but the only way to know 100% is to try and put it in and check the clearance. dont know if its worth the effort though (my opinion)

So, you think they will hit the steering shaft? Any other issues I should be aware of?
Do the collectors come out in a different spot than the earlier foxes?

I have a 95 S351 with FMS Ceramic Coated Shorty's .. I dont recall having any trouble with the installation or with steering shaft.

Re: 94/95 5.0 shorty headers

I decided to buy a pair of bbk equal length shorty headers. I had access to two different sets of them.
The first set hit the #4 plug at the collector and there was a gap of 1/4" between the head and flange.
The second set just barely touched the #4 plug and sat down on the head fine, which is why I asked about some shorty spark plugs, rather than go with something unknown.
Thanks again, everyone.
