what back spacing??? what tire size??

i have in 89 with a new 93 cobra 8.8 with disc brakes when i notest that the new 8.8 is makes the tires stand out half in inch out on each side...........
so i was thinking of getting some weld wheels 15x8 and 5 1/2 inch backspaceing but im not sure????
then i wanted to get 275 50 tires but when i saw them i want to get some even wider but im not sure????
if i remimber right the distance from the rotor to the back wall was 8 inchs.....

a 15x8 with a 5.5 bs and a 275-50-15 will fit perfect.heres a pic of how mine looks with the same setup

Re: what back spacing??? what tire size??

We are running 15x8 welds with the 4-1/2" backspacing, they stick out to far for my taste. I got entire set with nice tires for $300.00, so they will do until
I find a set with the 5-1/2 BS

I think the 5-1/2 BS is the best fit for the foxes.

Re: what back spacing??? what tire size??

fox- 15x8 5.5bs
sn- 15x10 4.5,5.5 or 6.5bs

I run 8" 4.5bs on my 95 cobra w/275/50/15 ps and they sit perfect

If you go to tirerack.com they tell you how to calculate the bs you need for a given wheel/tire combo
