Mass Air Conversion

Has anyone converter to mass air and hear of jumping clutch switch wires to prevent idle hunt or stalling? i'm told by a dyno shop that this needs to be done but unsure of correct wires or colors, any advice is appreciated, thanks

A MAF conversion does not require you force a permanent "in-neutral" reading in the ECM. A problem in the Clutch Engage Switch (CES) and Neutral Gear Switch (NGS) can be verified by running a KOEO self test (transmission in neutral) and making sure failure code 67 is not present. A problem with the NDS signal (showing system is "in-gear" all the time) does cause an idle control symptom as shown in the vid here, but it's not required as part of the MAF conversion.
