The right price!

Ok got a good question. I have a buddy that has a 95 5.0 GT Mustang. It is a 5-Speed. He is wanting me to swap out the motor in it with a brand new motor(ford racing motor). How much would should I tell him ill do it for (labor cost). Im clueless on how much I would charge so I figure I would post on here to get some suggestions on how much I should charge.

It is about a 12 hr job by the book. Figure what an hour of your time is worth.

WOW! 12 hours to R&R a 5.o in a 95 Stang?

I'd charge about $550 - $650. BUt that's just me. Shouldn't take you more than about 8 hours even as a beginner....

That's just my opinion...

I was going to say about 600 or 700 bucks to do it. Hes a good friend of mine and ive done motor swaps before so its not a big deal for me. I was wondering how many hours it was in the books. So that helps me out some also. But I am going to take my time doing it so I will do it right.
