Gas mileage of a 1995 mustang gt

I have the opportunity to buy a 95 gt and I was wondering what mpg in the city/and hwy these models get. I have a 66 that at it's best gets 15-17 city. I would believe that the 95 would be much better, how much.

Man it all depends. I had a 95 that got 15 city. I also had an 88 that got 18. I think if tune it up good and make sure everything is good, you will be fine! CLEAN THE MAS!!!!!!!!! That is what helped my Lincoln big time! I jumped from 16 to 18 real quick.

Hello. I have an '88 LX 5.0 with AOD and 150,000 miles. Everything is stock. If I drive "right", I get 19 around town and 21 to 23 on the highway. I used to do a little better.

I got up to 20 in town, and 28 highway in my '87 LX 5-speed...and I never really "babied" it.
