How do you switch a 4 cyl tach to work with a V8? I understand some have a switch on them. Where is this switch located? Can the tach be modified to work with a V8 if it does not have the switch? Thanks.
take the gauge cover plastic off and the switch is right under the tach, it will say 4,6,8. Use a small flat blade screwdriver and simply turn it to 8 and your good to go.
My tach does not have this switch. Is there a way to modify it to work with a V8. There was a link on a previous post to a site that explained how to modify the tach for use with a V8 but this link is no longer working or the site is not operating any longer. Any help would be appreciated.
