96- 98 cobra hp numbers out of the box?

I am looking into getting a 97 98 cobra sometime here in the near future. I have heard that the hp #'s check in around 305 or so stock.Is this accurate? Is the 305 rating the same with the 96's? I know that the 94 95s have around 235 or 245 at the flywheel. any input would be appreciated. thanks,

305 is correct, until 99 when it became 320 (supposedly) something happened there. Get the 96-98 and you won't be disappointed, awesome cars.

305HP and 300 torque. Very nice running engine, 4.10 gears make it into a whole different car! Expensive to repair...
