2001 3.8 to early 90\'s AOD?
Listen guys, maybe a little help. A friend of mine, an older gentleman has a 2001 3.8 and has a 1990 t-bird with an AOD. What does he need to connect the two sucessfully? What I mean is like computer stuff, any additional crap the 1990 didn't have but the 01 needs. The reason bieng is doesn't the old tranny need to be a AODE, e for electric whereas he has not that rather just the AOD. Any pointers on maybe where to find out. Thanks alot guys.
