Electronic TRAC control issues....

I have a 2003 Cobra that has not been modified. Sometimes, while in second gear and trying to accelerate out of a corner, the car seems to hesitate, rpms drop, and the blower light comes on. The engine does not stall and a release of the accelerator pedal get's the RPM's back. I took it to the dealer and they claim that it is working as designed and it is a function of the TRAC control system.
Does this make any sense at all?
Anybody knows anything about the TRAC system in Cobras?

Thanks.

It is the traction control. It is a pain but each time you start the car it goes into the default mode of on. You need to get in the habit of pushing the traction control button to off.

There is a black box or two on the market for about $50 that makes the default setting off.

Anybody try this mod?

Traction Control can also be turned off with a SCT Xcalibrator or Diablo Predator tuner.

Not worth the 400 $ if you use it just for that but can be good to tune the car and retrieve the error codes from the car
