Good place to get a used 97-98 Cobra engine?

My wifes Cobra decided to have a wrist pin start to go out. I am not going to rebuild it at this point, but would like to get that car up and running again so it doesn't sit and rot. I am looking for a good running, not smoking rattling or what not used engine. I've seen a few places online that sell them and of course ebay, but I always worry about dropping 2 grand on a sight unseen motor. Anyone know of a good reputable place to buy a used 4v engine?
