1994 engine swap

hi guys

Ive been bulding a 71 torino but ive been lookin foward to gettin a 1994 mustang from a friend for a daily driver. It has a 3.8 V6 5 speed. Ive got a real heavy right foot so that little V6 wont work. what would it take to put a 5.0 or 4.6 in it?

I think this is the next great engine swap vehicle.
These cars can be picked up dirt cheap, and have been home for V6s, 5.0 V8, 4.6 V8 both 2V and 4V, and my favorite....the 351 V8 (Saleen S351).
In fact, Saleen started with V6 cars since the parts that got tossed were low-value to begin with.
Here's a good article on parts needed:

For the 4.6 to work, you will need a new k-member and mount/crossmember for the tranny. As for the SBF, I believe it just bolts right in (w/ modifications to the fuel system, drivetrain, rear end, etc. needed to handle the power). There's other little things but for price, a 302 is the best deal. A 351 will be great too but a Mod engine (4.6/5.4) needs too many little things to make it cost effective. However, if you plan on getting an aftermarket k-member, it's your choice if you want to stay old-school or not.
