My Son's first car

I just bought my son his first car this week. A Silver 2000 Mustang with a V6, Auto and 97K miles. He's 16yo and doesn't have the driving skills or temptation resistance for a V8! I'm looking for 2 things.

First, what would be the best maintence/shop manual to get for it.

Two, are there any issues I need to watch out for, like known problems.

Either get the real Ford shop manual ($125) or get a Chilton one. Haynes is just terrible and misses a lot of points (like they tell you how to check the blower fan for the HVAC system but not how to remove it from the car).

I'd agree, find a Ford shop manual. Sometimes, if you get lucky, you can score one on eBay for cheap.
