Gt Supercar Fuel Pump Install

SEE T63 IN MUSTANG POST TO SEE PICS, BUT I INSTALLED A FORD GT SUPERCAR FUEL PUMP IN MY 2003 MUSTANG GT AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. ALSO i DIDNT DROP THE TANK ALL THE WAY OUT. I JUST REMOVED STRAPS AND BOLTS FROM FILLER NECK AND WITH THE CAR ON JACK STANDS I LOWERED THE TANK ENOUGH TO GET TO FUEL PUMP WITH PLENTY OF ROOM TO WORK.

Re: Gt Supercar Fuel Pump Install

I'll be doing that on my 03 Cobra also. I'm looking at getting a whipple 140AX or KB 2.6+ and joining the twin screw club. From what you say its sounds like a fairly easy job. How much was it, and where did you purchase it from?

Re: Gt Supercar Fuel Pump Install

Keep in mind that the GT has 2 pumps to support the power. We have done the swap as well. Depending on your power output, make sure you measure pump duty cycle when tuning.

I'm not positive but I will look to make sure, but I think the Sniper software allows me to program the max duty cycle of the pump. I made 475hp when the rods let go in this motor and it was know where near lean, so I would say its keeping up just fine.
