ignition system

Wanting to upgrade the ignition system but i dont know what all is out there and if it really works or not. Could someone list some of the parts, manufacture and how all of it works? really interested in more spark energy and multiple spark capability

Stock Ford COP ignition is multispark. Plus, you won't need any upgrades until you max out the ignition, usually when you add a blower. Remember, each coil is like 20,000V w/ no plug wires to connect to the sprak plug so 0Ω resistance. However, if you want a boost, MSD makes boxes and coils and Accel also makes coils. Just stay far, far away from Granatelli.

ok nice to know. Then what is all the fuss over the plasma booster?

Just like the fuss over Granatelli coils in the magazines. It helps you out when your car has been modded a fair bit but if you don't have much done, then $200+ for at most 10 hp isn't worth it in my book. I rather save my money for cams, heads, brakes, or suspension components.
