LATE YESTERDAY I CONTACTED THE MUSTANG SPEED SHOP THAT I HAD TALKED TO BEFORE AND HE ELABORATED. HE SAID 2 MUSTANGS HAD GONE UP IN SMOKE WHILE ON HIS DYNO. BOTH AT 400 FOOT LBS. HE SAID THAT HE KNOWS OF A COUPLE OTHERS THAT BROKE ON THE STREET. SEEMS THAT THE FUEL SYSTEM LEANS OUT AT HIGHER RPM. I THINK HE IS ON THE UP AND UP BECAUSE HE COULD HAVE SOLD ME A BLOWER EASILY. SOOOOO, JUST A WORD TO THE WISE.....BE CAREFUL. I THINK I WILL STICK TO PULLEYS, CAI, HEADERS, MAS METER AND A THROTTLE BODY

Find another shop. PHP and AFM have been doing real well with the 3V's.

BTW the crank, rods and pistons aren't any different(strength wise) than 99-04 2V engines.

05/06 mustang 3v engines are good to 500HP. Anything over that is an accident waiting to happen. I have the Saleen in my car and I love it. i will be working on getting 450 soon. Its all about the tune.

thanks whljck.......i'm still leaning toward that sc now. however if you go to roushperformance.com it looks like he has come out with a sc that he is so confident in he will cover the 36000/3 year warranty, that ford won't, himself. can't beat that.

The Saleen SC does not cancel the Ford warranty. You are covered. The roush looks nice.

Has anyone used the Roush kit, I am thinking strongly about the kit sence they will cover the 3year 36k milage warinty on motor and drivetrain. Specks would be great.

TAMMY, since i posted my entry i have installed a roushcharger and i love it. i had the vehicle dyno'd and i am putting out the advertised 415 hp (approx) with only 4 1/2 psi (easy on the engine). it looks good and sounds great !! i had some problems with my differential (tsb has been sent out on the problem i had) and the dealership had no remarks at all about the s/c when they repaired the rear end. go for it !!! lkygssr

I have an 06 a w/ Roushcharger add by the dealership per part of my deal. They honor the warrnaty, mostly Roush honors the warranty for 3/36 downside is any other mods after that, voids the roush warranty,
this includes axle backs and CAI's (which I just found out that steeda
are now making with a tuner for the roush ECM tune). Mine runs great no problem. I would like to get about 480 to the rear which I think is very possible. And seeing other track and dyno test with other S/C such as Kenne Bells some of the these cars are cresting the 500rwhp mark.
With no problems so I agree that is with the tune.
